Placing this architectural icon at the heart of the design highlights the meaningful connection between the host city's identity and the core academic values of an international scientific Olympiad.
The Vietnamese national flag is proudly positioned at the very center, affirming Vietnam’s role as the host country of IOAA 2026.
The sweeping orbital lines surrounding the central emblem evoke the celestial trajectories of stars and planets, galactic structures, and the perpetual motion of the cosmos. This imagery directly represents the academic core of the IOAA - Astronomy and Astrophysics.
Mirroring the structural beauty of a carbon atom, the design expands its symbolic meaning to encompass modern science, technology, and sustainable development.
